James COCHRAN

James Cochran, known as Jimmy C, is a British artist of Australian origin, recognized for his “drip painting” style using spray paint: portraits and urban scenes made up of thousands of layered drops of color.

Trained in graffiti in Adelaide during the 1980s, he later developed this pointillist style after studying visual arts. Based in London since 2012, he is notably the creator of the famous portrait of David Bowie in Brixton, which became a place of tribute after the singer’s death in 2016.
