L'ATLAS
Born in 1978, L’Atlas began tagging in the early 1990s before studying calligraphy in several countries and training in film editing techniques. He treats every letter as a shape and every shape as a letter, a method that gave rise to the labyrinth compositions now recognised as his signature.
A leading figure of French street art, his work has been shown at the Centre Pompidou, the Palais de Tokyo and the Fondation Cartier, spanning painting, photography and video.
