Stencil
Black-and-white stencilled silhouette of a ballerina in a tutu, ringed by an orange lifebuoy tied with rope, on a pale pink background.
GOIN
Goin made his first stencil in 1996 and began working in the street from 1999, keeping his identity anonymous behind a mask. Based in Lyon, he builds an engaged body of work that repurposes the symbols of popular culture to question current political and social affairs.
His work has been shown at the United Nations headquarters and in solo exhibitions such as the one held at Galerie Spacejunk in Bayonne in 2018.
