Christian Guémy, known as C215, was born in Bondy and studied art history and architectural history at the Sorbonne. He took up stencil art in 2006 after moving to Vitry-sur-Seine, a technique he applies both to anonymous figures from the street and to portraits of public personalities.
His work has included a 25-metre fresco in the Paris metro and a collaboration with Ubisoft on the video game Far Cry 4, as well as interventions in Ukraine since 2022.
